17. iti etaṃ ...vacanaṃ的使用

This phrase is used in comment units to express the nominal cases of nouns in commented units.

此短语在 comment units 中用于表示名词的名词性commented units。

Ex. yenāti etaṃ karanavacanaṃ

yenāti --> etaṃ (Whole-Part) (or) (IAD) /

yenāti --> etaṃ (整体) (或) (IAD) /

etaṃ --> karanavacanaṃ (NIO)

译. 这个案例在单词yena中是一个工具格（或）yena这个词是一个具有工具格的属性。

Trs. This case in the word yena is an Instrumental case (or) this word yena is one that has an Instrumental case.

Note (1): In the first sense, karaṇavacana is an adjectival compound whereas in the second, a relative compound.

注（1）：在第一种含义上，karaṇavacana是一个adjectival复合词而在第二种情况下，是一个relative复合词。
